Is the 645 start/stop button black?

This will sound like a weird one, but -- I have a 645, non-music, silver, and just noticed that all of my buttons are silver except the start/stop one. I really thought earlier that they were all silver, and was thinking a button cover fell off, but before I filed a defect report I thought I better double check, and now I'm even more confused. In some pics of silver 645s it looks like all the buttons are silver, in others just the start/stop is black, and in others still they all look black. 

So - have a look at your silver 645 and tell me - which, if any, of your buttons aren't silver?

    Not sure about the 645, but I believe that for example on the Forerunner 45 the color of the start stop button matches the color of the strap.

    Mine is the same, only the start/stop is black while the rest are silver

    I have a sliver 645M - the Start/Stop button is both black AND silver for me. There's a black 'cap', if you will, on a silver button. The other four buttons are all solid black.

    The start/stop button protrudes a bit more than the other ones, of course - to make it easier to press. But my start stop has what looks like a sliver base and then a black topper on it.

    Not sure that helps at all with your conundrum, but there you go.

    Here’s a close up - the start stop is on the lower part of the picture. You’ll see the silver part to it. 
    The other buttons, I would now say, are more like a dark gun-metal, vs black. But you can see how the start stop here is both silver AND that dark color.

    Never looked at the colour of the buttons before but indeed it does have a darker sheen than the others.
