Forerunner 610 bricked!!

How old is this device? What's happening? Not charging?

Device purchased 2011, so a few years old but not used much. Attempted to fire it up maybe a couple of years ago but couldn’t get past the boot screen - now nothing.  

Sounds like your best bet is to do a master reset. First make sure it has some juice in the battery. Connect it to the charging cradle and to a powered USB port or wall adapter.

To perform the master reset:

1. Power off watch (press and hold Light, Yes on prompt)
2. Press and hold Start/Stop and Lap/Reset
3. Press and hold Light (three buttons should now be pressed in)
4. After first beep, release Start/Stop
5. After second beep, release Lap/Reset
6. Release Light

The reset on the Forerunner is successful if the device finishes powering up and goes to the setup wizard. Try the steps again if the setup wizard does not appear.

Leave the device outside with a clear view of the sky for a minimum of 20 minutes to acquire satellite data once the reset and setup wizard are complete.

So you're saying the battery is done? Then there is no hope.  Good excuse to buy a new watch.

2011... a ‘few’ years old? Probably the battery is dead. I had a 610 before as well, but that was upgraded to a VA HR and since 2 years a FR645M. Time to upgrade! 

Got a F6X couple of weeks ago. Was just hoping to revive the 610. Bit gutted as it has been barely used.
