Previous firmware download

Is there a reliable website which stores previous versions of firmware for the forerunner 645? My wife's watch is running 5 something or other and I'd like to update it to 6.4 being the same as mine. Dont want to update either to the 6.50 yet.

Click "I agree" and navigate to the "forerunner" folder. The specific file you're looking for is one of these.

Note that if she has the non-music version, 6.40 is the latest, so you may use Garmin Express. Otherwise, place the GUPDATE.GCD file—you may need to rename it—in the \GARMIN folder of your device's internal storage drive. Disconnect your device from the computer, approve the update on the watch, and wait for the update to finish. NOTE: If you revert to an older version of software, all of your settings will be reset to defaults. (Instructions amended from Garmin's beta update instructions.)

Thanks..managed to get this installed in the garmin folder but when the watch tries to install it...the watch tells me its actually version 6.20. I triple checked that I downloaded the firmware marked forerunner 645 music version 6.40 but the watch tells me it's actually version 6.20.

That's unfortunate. I know of no other archive and don't see an easy way to get in touch with the maintainer. But, if you view the HTML source of the Garmin download page, there's a note about a manual installation with the following link:

You probably have an APAC version.
