My heart monitor and activity tracker not working!

My heart rate monitor has stopped working, also the activity tracker is no longer counting steps or floors, I have tried a soft Rest and restored to default settings but still not working, also there is no green light at the back of the watch. Any ideas?

    would say call Garmin Support and tell them about your mishap

    but you can do this (was mentioned in the forum) found it...

    I'd suggest you try:
    • Manually disabling the Heart Rate Monitor in the watch's settings;
    • Perform a hard reset on the watch; and then
    • Re-enable the Heart Rate Monitor in the settings.

    Thanks, I tried the long press light button, it didn’t work, I’m afraid to do a hard reset Incase I lose all my data!

    there is a service menu where you can check the OHR (turn led on or off)

    turn the watch off

    press down and light button

    let go of the light button when you see a triangle

    keep pressing down button until a beep and a menu shows on the screen

    you can turn the OHR led on and off by pressing the down button

    you can leave the service menu by pressing the light button

    call Gamin Support when the OHR led is dead Slight smile

    Thanks for the help, I did that, got the service menu up and it said OHR ON so turned it off and on again but no change, think the LED must be dead, I will ring them tomorrow.

    No unfortunately not, I rang garmin customer service and a guy talked me through different steps to fix it but none worked so I sent it back to garmin and they gave me a new watch!
