645M Freeze after FW 6.20

In the morning I got software 6.20 for my 6.45M.

After the first sync over BT and mobile: FREEZE !!

Restart the clock. Now you can see how the battery power decreases 1% in every 3 minutes

Reset to defaults, same issue

Then issue a rollback instead of ignoring the issue in public and leaving people in the dark for months on end. The lack of communication and length of time this is taking to fix is nothing short of disgraceful…

In my case the watch always freezes after a training, when I saved the run and switch back to the normal display then after a while the watch stops and no button is accessible anymore. A hard reset helps…

I have the same problem. My watch freezes with 5.9 firmware. After last update i did hard reset with deleted data. Yesterday my watch freezed again after workout.

After the initial couple of freezes (two weeks ago or so) I have not experienced any freezes again, even with long duration activities. (Did not do anything to rectify it - hope it will stay away :) )

Do you have auto save with WiFi enabled?

No - I sync via BT to phone. (I use my ext Garmin HRM for approx 50% of the time. ) I did run the battery down to 0 but I don't think it is material.

If you activate auto upload via WiFi you will see that it freezes

I'm having the same issue on my 645. Never had a problem until I updated to 5.90 and then 6.20. Deleting the activity files did not solve the problem. It does not happen all the time. It's always after an activity is saved, but not necessarily that exact moment. It may freeze few minutes after so it may be related to the sync process. So far I was lucky and even when it froze, the activity data was not lost or corrupted and was able to sync it with the app on my phone.

This really needs to be looked at. It's definitely a wide spread problem at this point and I hope Garmin will fix it.

Is this setting on the watch or garmin connect? And where is the setting in GC if it’s there?

Is someone in Garmin office,
Should  I return the clock or 
wait for a solution. 
I just want Garmin tell me 
if they are preparing a solution 
or not.
