Spotify content expired

I keep on getting the message "content expired" from spotify every time after charging the watch. My understanding is (maybe not correct) that the watch tries to sync via wifi every time the watch is connected to the charger. Is there another way to force the update ? I'm on beta 5.73 but had this problem on all other versions as well

No such issue. I just have to update playlists every 2 month or something.

thanks for the suggestion; i added a playlist; spotify started synching and now the annoying "content expired" message is gone. I just thought it was supposed to synch automatically.

At the bottom of the playlist menu, there is an "Update Downloads" options that will manually kick off a sync, if it doesn't automatically. I find that it likes to attempt a sync about once a week.

For me the automatic updates does not work when charging although the wifi is accessible!

i have to manually update every month otherwise Spotify stops working!

It is a VERY bothering bug that i already complained about and was not handled :-(

it suppose to work automatically since version 4

The Spotify content must be updated every month to comply with their licensing restrictions. Have you tried manually updating? This option is hidden away at the bottom of the music content list on the app.

the option to renew should be available right from the spotify selection in the main menu, now you have to look for it if you happen to be in a playlist already...

this option fails for me - sync failed . Im thinking about returning my garmin because of that...
