Memory/Storage utilization information

How do I find memory and storage utilization information?  For example, basic stats:

- Total storage

- How much storage is used by apps vs music

- How much is still available.    

I thought this would be a no-brainer but for the life of me I can't find the details other than a one liner in Connect IQ showing "Space Available".  I'm not sure if that's just apps or music or combined.  Anywhere else I can see more detail?

    Get some software to mount it as an MTP device - standard on Windows I understand, or use Android File Transfer app on a Mac.  Everything is in relevant subdirectories.

    Thanks for the reply.  Interesting that there's no built in feature to do that on the device itself.  I'll submit it as a feature request.  Thanks again!

    You could try the Connect IQ app (not Garmin Connect Mobile). There is an option within the Connect IQ app to "Manage Device" which provides a view of space available.

    Total storage on the music version is fixed at 3.5 GB so you don't need an app to see that. The connect app tells you available storage, slots and how much each individual app is using. If you need more detail you can use the Express app support.garmin.com/.../ or a standard USB interface on a PC to look at individual folders. 

    What use case is there where it's necessary to have this information actually on the watch? I think I'd rather Garmin fixed the bugs before adding new features that nobody needs!
