It looks like there is no auto laps functionality for swimming. I understand that watches need to know the exact time of turn at the end of pool, but this could be estimated later, as a part of lengths counting.
I swim usually 60 lengths of 25 m pool, without rests, and I would like to know my, sort of, average pace. The length pace is unreliable, average pace is for whole activity. I would like to get notifications of lap speed, like when running, after each e.g. 10 lengths. But this seems to be not supported on watch.
I tried to emulate the behavior by setting up training with 6x10 lengths, but the watch wants to add the rest there. The necessity to push BACK to start and then immediately (but not too soon!) end the rest after 10 lengths is annoying.
Any tips how to set up watches to support laps when swimming?
