Last handful of runs music plays fine for 20 mins or so then starts to drop out. Rather than having to re-pair the headphones if I go into music options I just have to hit play again (its put itself on pause on the watch) and music starts again. After doing that a few times music stops altogether. I can re-pair my headphones and get an audio prompt to say connect but no music. I don't seem to be able to rectify this within the activity. The watch toggles between play/pause and no sound. I've tried stopping the run, gone through removing headphones from device, switching off watch and re-starting it all again to get the same issue. Headphones believe connected but no music. Eventually they will work again but not without 10 mins of frustration mid run to get it sorted. Yesterday 6 km into 18 km the music died and I couldn't get it going again and didn't want to stop. It seems like it's the watch as the headphones are working ok otherwise. Anyone have any advice? Headphones are plantronics backbeat fit and I wear the watch on my left wrist. I have had occasional drop out before and more so when I stop to walk but with this latest issue it takes a long time and a lot of steps to try and make them work.
Spotify play list, BackBeat Fit, watch on my right wrist: on Sunday the music stopped at :10 minutes. I stopped the run, "resume later", went into settings and turned off the footpad completely, then disconnected the BackBeat Fit and reconnected it. After that it worked.
I was wondering if having my footpod connected while the headset is connected degraded the music connection...in my one experiment so far, it just might.
Then it is another issue. I had something similar but this was with stored mp3 files. I was not able to delete these corrupt files. The only way to fix this was a full reset (restore factory settings) or to copy the full album again to the watch.
