Court activities? Tennis, badminton, wolleyball etc...?

I regularly play badminton over the winter months and I'm disappointed there's no court sport activities on this watch and I can't find any apps that would record such activities. What would you recommend I should do? I expect to have recorded heart rate, likely steps (should be counted towards daily goal) but no GPS of course because it wouldn't make much sense... Not sure how these sort of sports would be presented on Strava though.

Help me out?
  • Just use "other". Heart rate should be no problem, taking into account the inherent inaccuracy of the built-in optical sensor. Daily steps are totally independent of the current activity, but you won't get accurate step count in these types of sports no matter what, simply because the internal sensor needs regular and rhythmic arm movements to count steps properly. GPS can be turned on or off manually. This is the best you can achieve.
