645M no bluetooth at all after v4.00

Hi all,

My 645M has been having terrible battery life recently, like 80% to 30% in a few hours with no activites logged

As a fix, I noticed version 4.00 available for download, so stuck it on and it rebooted

Since then, it wont see my iphone 8* (ios 12) at all. Delete the device within My Garmin, deleted the app, rebooted the phone and the reset the watch to factory default. Still wont see my iphone

Any ideas? Is it a faulty software version? Pretty much stuck now!

Thanks
  • reset iphone network settings as per another post, no luck

removed device from garmin connect iphone app, but it still shows on the full website app but there is no way to remove it from there

so went to www.garmin.com, logged in there, and under devices found all 3 of my current and old devices, so deleted all 3 of them in there. unfortunatly by the time i did this, the watch had used 34% battery so is now flat again and my charger is 20 miles away

    usless peice of rubbish!

Try disabling the heart rate monitor completely and see if the issue goes away. It took a while before I narrowed down the issue on mine after the update, after disabling HRM, my battery is back to normal. I wish garmin support would acknowledge the issue ,but I'm stuck in the "engineering team will email you" phase for a couple of weeks now
