Wow, well better late than never. Let's hope it's as good as we hope.
  • Works ok for me. The syncing isn't the fastest, but it improved when I got closer to my router. Note you have to login to Deezer on GCM to get it to work. I also found that to get it to sync I needed to back out of the screen after selecting flow or a playlist. I’ll play more later.

Until now you can only synchronise playlists, so if you want complete music-albums you have to put them in a playlist first, but it works good. About 10 minutes for 50 tracks.

I'd say it's no slower than an apple watch at syncing off line playlists in my experience anyway. Same process will only sync whilst on charge, I used to do this the night before a run if I wanted to change my playlist when I was an apple watch user.

Anyway with deezer on garmin I synced two playlists last night about 300 songs and went for a run this morning. Worked really well. Finally I can run with music I like.
  • We have a problem with your Deezer sign in...

    Supplement:
After removing and re-installing the app, the sign in (via connect mobile) worked and I am now downloading/syncing a playlist to my 5x+ (I hope so). Only 30 songs, very slow and with 50% sync left, the battery has needed > 8% so far...ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1399031.jpg

To use Deezer seems i need to have the Wifi connectivity. Instructions that i have followed so far include :
Download the Deezer app to the Garmin watch, launch the music app on the watch, rotate around to "manage", select Music Providers, select Deezer, automatic connection via WiFi to create account/login.

But that's where I have issues (and always have). I can connect to the Wifi network or hotspot when 'testing' the network via Connect Mobile, but then it disconnects. When searching via the watch itself it never connects to the networks, and often with the message
    • "Connection Failed - Error Code 0800"
This failure seems to prevent me using the new Deezer functionality, since after selecting Deezer, it goes off on this automatic WiFi search, and then falls over :-( :-(

So, I can get to the stage of wanting to login, but no further. Any suggestions ?

Finally Deezer! Epically slow to download onto the watch but it got there. If it helps. I found problems with loggin in and error codes until i got close to my home wifi router. Then no problems at all. I also used the garmin connect app to reenter the wifi password for the router again just in case.

    Hope that helps

But overall works like a chard with my wireless earbuds.

I’m sure this has been covered... but 500mb limit for the songs is that correct? I’m sure I remember seeing that there was a win of storage?

ps - super happy it’s here though.

Thanks for that. Tried again but no success - using the app to forget the network and then reconnecting again - same story "connection failed"... In the meantime i have to stay with the option of downloading my music via Garmin Express...
