About to purchase this watch - Music dropout, reset fixed with recent firmware 3.4?

Hi, after reading this forum and all the issues back in May with this watch and the music stopping, resetting the watch, drop outs and triangle of death I wanted to find out if after the recent firmware update have all these issues been sorted?

I am also going to use the Bose Soundsport Wireless headphones, which I believe works well ( compared to the Bose Soundsport Wireless Free model ) but wanted to confirm by those that already have this watch and these headphones ideally that it is working all ok now.

Hope to hear from someone - much appreciated.

Samir.

David that is awesome news.... I love my headphones and excited about getting the watch. So now issues with syncing and dropouts when running? I plan to have the watch on my left wrist.

Yes I want to use it for running mainly and cycling as well. Deezer????

I assume it syncs well with Strava etc.?? Never had a garmin, always used my phone so looking forward to seeing what it can do.

Thanks for your response David. Samir.

    Hi Samir
as I said I have no issues synching my watch with the Garmin Connect app on my iPhone. I am training for a competition and am using the notifications for every km/lap and these work fine. I use the both with and without music. I run with my watch on the left wrist. No problems too synching (via Garmin Connect) to Strava. I have not had the reboot issues described above.
    enjoy the new watch !

The issue that could cause the Forerunner 645 (non-music) to reboot when saving an activity has been resolved with the 3.70 update that was just released. More information and current roll out status can be found in the sticky at the top.
