Blue triangle - blinks now and then - boot loop?

Hello,

I'v been using the forerunner 645M for about 2.5 months. Today, at work, suddenly I see the blue triangle on the watch screen. It blinks now and then, as if it is stuck in some boot loop.
The watched was fully charged this morning. I forced it off by holding the button down for 15 seconds, after restart it just comes back to the triangle.

What can I do about this? I already tried connecting it to my computer with garmin connect, but the watch is not recognised.
  • There is a way to get out of this, but unfortunately it involves losing all your settings and data. It's pretty much a factory reset (although certain things like music might stick around -- I'm not sure because I don't own a 645)

    1) Force it off
    2) Press and hold Start and Lap
    3) Press and hold Light (now you're holding 3 buttons down)
    4) After first beep, release Start
    5) After second beep, release Lap
  • Thank you for your reply. I went back to the shop with it yesterday and they replaced it immediately. I didn't know it was possible to do a reset from a watch that was off (I found information you could to it via a menu option, but I didn't get that far.)

Anyway, great service from my reseller. I'm good to go already.
