Lactate Threshold bpm

Yesterday morning I did the guided lactate threshold test on my 645M. I am not a fast runner at this point in my life and the test gave me a lactate threshold pace of 10:23 which sounds about right to me based on how I feel running faster and slower than that pace. It also gave a lactate threshold bpm of 78 bpm which doesn't sound remotely correct. For one thing I am above that heart rate standing up and waving my arms, for another, at a 10:23 pace, my heart rate is roughly double that. I would like to use %LT for training zones but 78 bpm gives ridiculously low and small zones. Am I missing something?
