iTunes Playlist - deleting and adding to watch

So I am still having problems with this. I have a playlist that i would like to put on my watch. I add it but then it shows on my watch as 0 songs available. I can delete it and it will go away. try to add it again and the same thing happens. sometimes during the add process you will see it slowly go through the number of songs (say 13 songs) and sometimes it will quickly jump through all 13 - each time it will say that it is complete and each time you to to the watch (or check it on Express) it will show that the playlist is on the phone but there are no songs in the playlist. This makes me very scared to "play" with my playlists - I am scared that i will lose them all. I have playlists on my watch and i have individual songs on my watch.

is there a trick to deleting and adding them? I had this playlist on my watch (with songs) but now I can not put it on there again.

currently running software3.10

I was really hoping the software update would fix this issue as well, but it has not.

Is this still the same issue described in this thread?

have you tried using Garmin express to remove not only the playlist but the songs themselves? Basically, clear ALL music off the watch and then re-load whatever playlists you want.

qcassidy that is what I was afraid I was going to have to do, but it seems like a pain to have to remove all the music off the watch every time I want to change a playlist. does everyone just have playlists, or a combo of playlists and random other songs not on a playlists also?
  • The playlist feature needs work. I have been able to add iTunes playlists through Garmin Express just fine. But you can't sync the list later, like if you add or remove songs. If you try to reload the playlist or delete and readd the playlist it will say 0 songs. The only way I have been able to figure this out is to delete all music from the watch, including playlists, and then readd them. Obviously, this is a royal pain and it should not work this way. You should be able to delete and add playlists. Deleting a playlist wouldn't delete the music that is already on your watch. But when you readd a playlist that has more songs, it should then just add the extra songs and then work.
