since the update to 2.50 I have to enter the code every time I pay.

I'm still waiting for Garmin Pay to actually accept a Capital One MC, as the website claims is supported.

Thanks Joey. Seemed to work as expected yesterday. I’ll watch out for any strange behaviour and capture the HR is so.
  • Worked as it is supposed to today for me.

OK looks like it hadn't synced, even though the watch was connected to the phone. I know it was connected because i was constantly getting text messages the hour before. This pic was taken at 3:33pm a moment after i had to put my pin code in for a second time. The first time i think was around midday.

Once i open GCM (and right after i took this screenshot) it then updated.

    Thanks for the pic.

We are continuing to look into this. At times we have been able to replicate the issue on devices in house, and then it starts working as expected. Thanks fort the continued feedback.
  • I am going to go out on a limb and bet it has to do with checking if the watch was removed and a drop out of the OHR.

No a drop-out, but the phone not syncing often enough (or stopped syncing for some reason). The OHR on the watch was recording jus fine.
  • Don't think this has anything to do with phone sync, you don't even have to have your phone with you to use it, but maybe. It also might be such a short HR loss you would not see it in the graph, but might be enough to reset the pin code for GP, or GP may check randomly and hit a time that the all day OHR is not recording as it is not recording every second.

Ok interesting. I’ll wait and see what Joey has to say.

This watch may be going back anyway because of GPS issues. Still testing that to see if it’s first week wobbles and comes good (or good enough) or something more persistent.
  • Hi, I have a Garmin 645 and it asks for a pin code every time I pay here in the UK.
