Is Garmin Pay working already?

Working for me now as well but........How in the world does this not support Chase? They support nearly every other major US bank. Didn’t even know this was something I needed to check before buying, but now this feature is entirely useless to me.

Only Danske Bank(?) currently supported in the UK, so effectively useless for anybody using any of the major banks. Can only find statistics for the top 15, so not sure where Danske sit as far as market share goes, but certainly not worth Garmin's advertising effort as yet. Misleading at best.

Tested in store and worked well. Entering code on watch is a bit cumbersome, but unavoidable. I am using Visa with Bank of America.

Worked same as my VA3 did. Like said above, the passcode entry is a bit cumbersome but not terrible.

Apparently, you only need to do this once a day, or if you've taken your watch off (e.g. charging or if swapping wrist for better BT).

I guess I can live with that as I find it is more responsive than my smartphone.....maybe due to it being more obvious where the chip is and no phone covers or magnetic holders in the way.

How the heck do you not support CITI Cards on Garmin Pay? One of the worlds BIGGEST credit card companies isn't even on your device. Please tell me this one is coming very soon.

We will work to add any bank that would like to support Garmin Pay. Banks have to agree to support the feature. We would encourage any user to contact their bank and request support for Garmin Pay.

It's just a shame the UK advertising doesn't come close to recognising that having Denmark's biggest bank on board as the only supported provider shouldn't really be considered one of the watch's biggest selling points. As it currently stands, I'd hazard a guess that Garmin Pay is useless to 99.9% of the UK customer base until/unless another bank decides to take it on (but is still advertised as one of its major selling points).

Should it really be up to the consumer to contact their bank, when Garmin are happy to suggest we leave our wallets at home? I can just imagine the response I'd get from a minimum wage customer service bank employee. We're not talking about some minor institutions that Garmin have missed here, literally NO major UK bank is supported and I would suggest customers should press Garmin for a resolution, rather than their banks.
