I am not getting map details when my Forerunner45 uploads data. Has the GPS system been turned off inside my watch?

When I have finished my run and my data uploads to my phone I do not get the map of my run. I have not been using my watch to log run miles as I have developed a heart issue and have just been cleared to return to running. Is the problem in my settings or much deeper?

Restart your watch, then connect it with the USB cable to a computer with Garmin Express and check for updates.

This process will also update ephemeris data (EPO / CPE file). Afterwards, go outside and begin a GPS activity (run, walk, etc.).
