Displayed activities not syncing to Forerunner 45s

Hello. I have a Forerunner 45s. Currently, I cannot get Biking to show up as a displayed activity on my watch. I've had it there before and saved a biking activity that way. I got my bike out for the first time since last summer today, and biking has disappeared from my watch. I can see it selected as a displayed activity in Garmin Connect on both the app and on a web browser. I can add/delete other displayed activities but I cannot for the life of me get Biking to show up. Any ideas? I did a soft reset and that didn't seem to help.

I’m having the same problem!!! I have tried through both my app and the web browser and neither are working. I have tried dumping all avians reading and the bike refuses to be added back!

“In case anyone is having problems trying to change the display activities for a forerunner 45, the only way I could get it to change from run, treadmill, cardio, indoor track was to reset the watch. This is done by:

From the watch face, hold UP.
Select. > System > Reset.
Select an option: To reset all of the device settings to the factory default values and save all activity information, select Reset Settings

It was quick to set up again via the connect app and bluetoothing the watch once more. I then set teh activites to those i wanted: run, bike, walk and it worked after sycing

Thank you - that has worked for me. Although I had forgotten that to reconnect your watch to your phone after resetting, that you have to use the Garmin Connect app, not Bluetooth settings!
