I have recently started wearing a MyZone heart rate monitor which my Garmin is now using for it's heart rate data (this is not why I got the MyZone). When I review the data in Garmin Connect the data for the first 8-10 minutes the data displayed is blocks of a few (or more) seconds before settling down to a normal display. The average and maximum rates recorded by MyZone and Garmin are different. I have tried to stop Garmin using the MyZone data but without success. How can I do this or stop the inaccurate reporting. Thanks.
