Accuracy of average pace

Is there any way to display the actual non-rounded average (lap) pace? I understand the advantage of displaying a rounded pace when displaying the current pace, but the argument given here https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=i6yDMDvr9X6R5Yjfbj2gi7&searchQuery=Why%20Does%20My%20Garmin%20Watch%20Not%20Display%20My%20Exact%20Running%20Pace%3F
that rounding is done 'in order to present a value to the runner that is not constantly changing every second of the activity' does not hold for the average pace, as it will anyhow not change constantly. When running intervals aiming to run at a certain pace, it is rather disturbing that the lap average pace suddenly can change from say 4:00/km to 4:05 instead of 4:02 to 4:03.
