GPS not working - Forerunnner 45S

I just purchased this watch off eBay, it's in excellent working condition and I've updated all the software through the Garmin Express app. But when I try to start a run, it won't acquire a GPS signal no matter how long I wait.

I've already tried the steps outlined here (deleting the RemoteSW folder from the Garmin storage when connected to the computer), but it still won't work.

Any idea what's wrong?

I would do a full factory reset, especially since you don't know what the prior owner had on it.

System >> Reset >> Delete All >> Accept. Watch will restart, then you'll be prompted to choose your…

System >> Reset >> Delete All >> Accept. Watch will restart, then you'll be prompted to choose your language. Sync with Garmin Express, then take the watch outside with a clear view of the sky for about 20 minutes.
