I have a garmin forerunner 45 and use the intervals setting. Is there a way the overall average pace can be displayed while doing intervals rather than elapsed time and distance covered?

Hello, to solve this, simply create a data screen that has either lap time, lap distance and lap pace on it, (any order you like of course, or only one or two of them). What this does is anytime you go through a lap, (meaning a mile or a kilometer) it will start the timer back at zero. So for example... if you were doing 10 x 400 meters, with 90 seconds recovery, you would go through your 400 meters, the watch would lap, (because that is what the interval is set to) it starts the lap timer over at zero, as you're jogging your 1:30 recovery you can see exactly how much time you have left to recover, then the watch will auto lap it at 90 seconds, and you begin your next rep. To access your screens once you start the workout, you press the bottom left button once or twice, (depending on what order you have the screen set up) and it will take you to the screen that has your lap time, lap distance, and lap pace.
