I went for a "pace goal workout" this morning, with garmin coach on my Forerunner 45. All started off fine, with a warmup followed by 400m of running at fast pace. The screen on my watch showed me a colored "dial" with an indicator moving between zones, and a my current pace displayed. I was running too fast occasionally, and it told me to slow down. So far so good. But then, from the second fast-pace segment onwards, it seemed to just fail at tracking my pace properly. The display showed the meter with no indicator on it, and my watch just kept telling me to speed up, even when I was running a flat out sprint. For the rest of the run, it just would not not show pace indicator properly and kept telling me i was too slow. GPS was fine, because Livetrack followed me all the way aorund.
Anyone able to help shed any light on this problem please ?
