Forerunner 45 screen brightness

Hi, wondered if anybody can advise on a way to improve the clarity of the screen on the Forerunner 45? Even with the backlight on, the screen and info detailed on it bears no relation to the Garmin promotional material. i've tried different watch faces with little effect. Thanks

I agree. The screen brightness is aweful. Cannot figure out how to change. Very frustrating

Recieved my FR45s today and I agree screen is very dim and lacks brightness in colour. So far, unable to find solution.

There is no solution. This is how colour transflective LCD displays look.
