GPS issues after 3.80 update?

I'm new to Garmin, but haven't had any issues until today when I've been unable to get a GPS lock. I've synced with both garmin connect on my phone and garmin express on my laptop and checked that everything is up to date.

Is anyone else experiencing gps issues? there are a few comments on the garmin subreddit and on the 245 forums. Are Garmin usually responsive when this sort of thing happens?

EDIT - all seems to be back to normal this morning though will know for sure tomorrow after I've been out for my long run

It took me a very long time (3-4 mins) to get a GPS lock this evening, a little more than an hour ago.

I am seeing the same issue. I have just got my forerunner yesterday, so I updated the 3.80 software. And I have never been able to get a GPS lock at all despite me trying every method that have been proposed online.

Hopefully Garmin can get a hotfix out soon.

In my case, it takes forever to connect to the gps. It's very frustrating.

Can confirm - very long (infinite? I gave up waiting) GPS lock at least 2 days in a row.

Same here, have tried hard reset / deleting the RemoteSW folder and connecting to Garmin Express. Garmin Express sometimes says new software available and tries to install GPS 2.90 the installation runs and completes without errors but GPS on watch shows GPS: 0.00

Is anyone else seeing this error GPS: 0.00?
