Not connecting to phone and turn off watch and doesn’t turn back on

my FR45 loses connection to my iPhone regularly So I have turn it completely off and then back on again so it would re-connect. So I shut it off, and twice now it hasn’t turned back on. I had 80% of the battery left when I shut it off, The only way it turns back on is with the charger and doing the reset, but if your out then you are unable to do this, very annoying and resetting solves it but you shouldn’t have to do this, I’ve only had the watch for 2 weeks, another issue I’ve had is the other morning I woke up and the watch had turned itself off as the battery had drained through the night, I only charged it before I went to bed, I also have to change the weather setting from Fahrenheit to Celsius daily.

  • I have the same issue daily.  It's beyond frustrating.  This is my second Garmin but if there are not some comms from Garmin soon about a fix then I'm going to return mine as defective and switch to FitBit or Apple Watch.
