Forerunner 45 Volume of sound on alarm/alert

How loud is the alarm and alerts on an FR 45? I only ask as I didn't check when buying a vivoactive 3 and then discovering it only vibrates!! I use the alarm and the notification on the countdown timer a lot and need to be able to hear it. Any advice appreciated before I buy.

Not loud enough. Impossible to hear alerts when trying to follow workout plans outdoors. Vibration also too weak to be of use. Vibration on my 910xt was perfect.

Cheers Ramou, won't be buying one then. Just gone cheap on a Huawei, more boxes ticked. Thanks for the info.

I already bought the Forerunner 45 and then found out that the volume of the alerts is very weak. If you are an urban runner, lots of traffic, noise from scooters and other people this Garmin watch will not help you. I am a little bit disappointed to say the least.
