Forerunner 45 does not show distance when running and will not upload the run

Hello, on my last two runs I can see PACE and Elapsed time displaced, but distance remains at 0:00. It does not increase throughout the whole run. Also the watch does takes a long time to save the run (15 seconds) and then it does not uploads anything to Garmin Connect or Strava. I have the latest software and have restarted the watch several times. Any idea please. I can't get to talk to Garmin support and can't find a chat line for them.

Hey! I've had this problem multiple times and again today. Try deleting all history on your watch. If you look at your steps in Garmin Connect, it likely shows as a "Move IQ Event" because it resembles a regular activity you do. This happens to me about once a week; my watch doesn't seem to be able to handle more than 4 hours of activity before it starts acting up.

Hi there. thanks for your reply. I got it sorted in the end by resetting the GPS and then doing a full reset on the watch. I lost all history of course and had to set up my changes again, but it works fine now.
