iPhone syncing is really bad

Others have posted this here, but I'm posting it again in hopes of getting the attention of the Garmin team.

This is my first Garmin, so I don't know if it's standard for their products, but the syncing to my iPhone is really shoddy. Sometimes I turn the watch on, and it syncs perfectly. Sometimes it doesn't, so I toggle the watch off/on, and it works. Other times I have to force quit the Connect app. Sometimes I even have to turn my phone off.

I've had no problems with the watch once it syncs. In fact I've really enjoyed using it. This syncing issue feels like a problem from 15 years ago, though, and not something I'd expect from one of the top device makers.

Really hoping this can be fixed.

Have also a 45s and it really sucks when syncing. Everyday it looses connection, and as you write, various things needs to be done in Order to get connection again - turning off the watch, completely removing the watch and reinstalling it again to name a few. In these Tries the watch often goes completely off - and you need to use the 30 sek push + cord power in Order to Wake it up again. My husband has a Phenix Garmin watch and it NEVER fails - so I Think that the 45S is simply just too cheap (not that it is cheap) build for working Good. Yes of course the issues with KM vs Miles like everyone Else is having problems with are also there - but that is actually a Week or two ago since this problem was there......
