Hi, I too have had issues with the connection and sync of my watch to my Garmin connect app, very intermittent issues. On one occasion my F45 lost information of a recorded activity ie a run and the steps to that point and reset itself part way through a day? Today even though it was charged it would not connect. Thus I did all the necessary on my phone, switched off the Bluetooth, back on again. Closed the app & went in again. Switched off my phone, powered up again & nothing. Then I turned off my watch and it wouldn't power up again???? This watch is only 2 months old.... I am so disappointed. I called the shop, they said they would need to try a few things and possibly return it to Garmin for repair/replacement. I looked up the issue and I found the troubleshooting fix mentioned above ie hold down the power for 30 secs, power with the cable and it started up again, my time lost in all of this.
Garmin - as this is a known problem, please either fix it immediately if it is a software issue or if it is a hardware, do a recall?
