Garmin is aware of an issue where some devices may appear to not acquire a satellite signal. Affected models include:

How do I fix this problem?
The fix requires you to take the following steps:
- Wait for the device to acquire a satellite signal which can take up to 5 minutes.
- Allow the device to stay locked onto the signal for 20 minutes. Do not exit the activity or take the unit inside during this time frame.
- Do not move the device during this time
Following these steps will fix the issue temporarily Garmin is working to release a software update in the near future which will automatically download to your device when it is paired to the Garmin Connect app. This update will permanently fix this issue.
