Heart Rate Inaccuracy

Thank s for your kind information.
I have a FR45 and I rode my cycling trainer(TACX NEO) yesterday. And I got graphs as attached picture.
As you can see, heart rate graph is mess.

I heard that I should warm-up FR45 and my body.
How can I warm-up FR45 and my body?
Should I warm-up about 20 minute every time before I start Zwift?

  • Are you using the optical wrist heart rate, or an external chest strap?  I have found the wrist-based HR my FR45 to be inaccurate (off by about 10-15 beats) when actually running, so I use a chest strap to read HR.  When sedentary, the wrist HR is fairly accurate, but cannot be trusted when exercising.  Much of it depends on how tightly you wear the watch (it must be tight, but not TOO tight) and where on your wrist (further up your arm than on your actual wrist).

  • I used one on my FR45(OHR).

Yesterday, I turn on HR Broadcasting 20 minute before I start Zwift aand I got the graph as attached.,

    And I satisfied with it.

If you turn on HR Broadcast 20 minutes before you start workout and wear FR45 close to elbow, You can get proper graph.
