Swimming activity

Will swimming activity be ever added to garmin 45 since its water proof up to 50 meters?

    I would guess "no", as if it were planned for he 45, it would be there already.  The waterproofing allows you do swim with it/shower with it, etc, but not record an activity.  Pool swimming is available on the 245 and up, and open water swim on the 735 and up.

    So since its available on 245, its just a matter of software uptade or maybe case will not withstand the pressure?

    I'm sure it's more than just firmware, as in general, the fr45 is a lower end device and there are a number of things the 245 can do that the 45 can't.  Differences in available memory, etc.
