Garmin forerunner 35 sync issues

Most likely the activity file is corrupt and garmin connect does not accept it. Search the forum for similar reports.

Extracts to 46 FIT files. Are there specific files here that are not uploading? I was able to do a manual upload for all of them. How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?

• Sync your watch, backup the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder, then do a full master reset of your FR35 using these directions - Restoring All Default Settings
• Add a weekly cleanup procedure of the ACTIVITY folder to your agenda using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities to Free Up Space

Both me and my partner also have this problem for a run I went on today. In both cases there is a .FIT file on the watch that we can see when looking on the watch but it won't sync to the Garmin Connect app. When I try to upload the file manually it says that this is a corrupt file. Both of us have a Garmin Forerunner 35 and went for runs at different times. 

Could there be something wrong with Garmin more generally than something wrong with my watch? 

I don't know how to upload a file with the corrupt version. 

Attach the fit files to this thread. We can look to see if it is repairable.

• Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
• Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

Some fit files can be fixed by FIT File Tools, using the section remover without any adjustments. The result can then be uploaded to Garmin Connect Web using the Import Data page. I tested your file, so this works. If necessary, change the activity type from "Other" to "Running."
