Indoor cycling calorie count way too low

Hi all,

Anybody had problem with calorie burn count seeming abnormally low on their Forerunner 35 for indoor cycling?

Whenever I do indoor cycling, it seems to vastly undercount the # of calories I burn. I went for a brisk walk today for 30 minutes. I burned 145 calories. That sounds about right. 2 days ago I did an indoor ride where I (for the most part) maintained a 90 RPM cadence (using a metronome app) for 30 minutes at a fairly high level of effort. I was pouring sweat. Guess what? Per my F35, I burned the same # of calories: 145 Sweat smile

My Forerunner has a good sense of humor. My perceived effort was 2 if not 3x more on the indoor cycling. I didn't even break a sweat on my walk. What gives??

I'm using the Garmin approved method of "Use indoors" setting on Cycling (see below link for manual page). See below numbers from Garmin Connect.
