How can I turn off the Step Counter temporarily without stopping the Heart Rate Monitor? When I turn off Activity Tracking in the Settings, it cuts off the Step Counter AND the Heart Rate Monitor.
I want to do this, because the Step Counter is too sensitive. Apparently I'm sleep walking marathons in the Sleeper Berth of my Semi Truck with over 1000 steps before I get out of the bunk in the morning. I drive a truck all day, but no, says Garmin. I had no idea that I was actually running the whole way to my deliveries back and forth across Texas. And you'd think I'm hauling the trailer load on my back with all the calories it says I'm burning every day.D
Did they even bother to check their programmers' online diplomas? Why don't they just put a Hello Kitty strap on the thing and sell it in the toy section at Walmart!?
