Is there any way to download as a CSV file the complete heart rate data?  I can move my cursor over the HR chart and write down the HR at selected time intervals but it would be nice to completely download the whole file.  Anybody out there know??  Thanks.

Thanks much, Only Two.  Following your suggestions....not finding it particularly easy as I am not a computer expert but am giving it the ole college try and will report back if I have success or other questions.

OK, did a bit more investigation and found an actual easy way to get that type of info.  I found a free software called Golden Cheetah....I guess this is used for serious athletes who want to track all sorts of training info on their workouts...perhaps you have heard of it....  Anyway, downloaded it then went to my Garmin Connect and selected my activity then went to Settings, Export Original.  This exported a zip file.  Unzipped it to a .fit file.  Then opened Golden Cheetah, created my athlete profile, then selected Activity, Import from File.  It defaulted to the Summary screen.  I selected the Edit menu item (end of that row of menu items) and it gave me a five-col set of data with Time, Distance, Cadence, Heartrate, and Speed in 1 sec increments.  I simply selected the columns I wanted and copied them then directly pasted (didn't even have to import) them into Excel.  Voila....easy.   So, now if anyone wants to do it this should be the easy way.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, my friend.

This is exactly was I was looking for.  I really need the heart rate info but I'm stuck at getting the five-col set of data.  I see the Edit but I haven't been able to get the detail.  Thanks

    Hi Doug,

If you go up to the menu bar and scroll all the way to the right, you will see the Edit menu item next to the HrPw.  Click on that and it will give you the five col data set.  Then just highlight the first four columns (or all if you also want the Speed col), copy it all and then paste it into excel.  You can then delete the distance and cadence col if you want and you have a second by second list of your heart rate.  Let me know if this works for you.
