    Hello Master

i have FR35 for almost a year but recently purchased the chest reader from garmin.

its a Premium heart rate monitor from garmin ( compatible) with FR35 as per the specs online & amazon also says so. How do I find the make & version of it ??? I don’t see it on the specs of the box

In the menu settings, Add sensors or clear all. I don’t see the name of this sensor appearing.
so I select Add to get the sensor added, it gives a message “ Sensor must be awake”
we tried to wake the sensor by all the methods mentioned by you with no luck

Kindly help as we have been trying a lot but in vain.

    Thank you
  • Chest strap sensors sometimes have problems waking up when your skin is clean and dry. Just put some warm water on the electrodes before putting it on your chest. Then try pairing again. And if it fails then try again several times.

    Hello

So do you suggest to return the product ? Could it be a fault functioning in the product itself? Pls advise ....

    Hello OnlyTwo

how to search the hr sensor via your phone when ANT+ compatible (to check if it works) as suggested?? Do I need to download something in addition to Garmin Coonect app on my phone ???

    pls advise
  • You need another app for that. Search the google play store.

But the easiest and most reliable way to check if the sensor is ok or not, would be to find a friend with a garmin watch, and see if another watch can find the sensor.
