Forerunner 30 strap has fallen off - where to find replacement??

Hi, I bought a Forerunner 30 on January 2nd and have been wearing it daily since then. Yesterday one of the straps fell off. I took it to a watch repair shop this morning and he said that it is a design fault and basically the holes on the strap have become too big/stretched to stay connected to the screws.
So unless I can find a replacement strap the watch is useless.
Looked online and cannot find a replacement for Forerunner 30. There are loads for Forerunner 35 but I cannot figure out if these are the same or not? Some people say they are, some say not.
Can anyone provide a definite answer please?

The Forerunner 30 and Forerunner 35 use the same band design. We would encourage you to reach out to us directly for assistance in obtaining a replacement band, especially is you are in the warranty period. You can reach out to our Product Support team by phone, email, or chat.

Hi, thanks for this - I sent an email yesterday afternoon - how long do they typically take to reply?

Hi LTS, I bought a FR30 on same day as you by looks and have the same issue, I sent an email yesterday but no reply, how long did you have to wait and has issue been fixed?

    Cheers

Definitely a design fault in the watch strap securing system. Once the holes in the strap become enlarged (which they will do pretty soon being of a rubbery material) then the screws won't be able to hold the strap on :-( Very poor design and quality.

ps I contacted the Support Chat forum and they've arranged to send me a replacement strap. Very good service. However, there is definitely a design issue with the strap.
