Display has dark edges

My forerunner 35 is less than 6 months, it has developed a darker irregular border that is growing bigger with time. Anyone else had this problem. All functions working fine. See photo. Whats the cause? Anyone else seen this? ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1254701.jpg
  • I saw this on a watch in the 235 forum. I suggest you contact support.
  • I have the same issue with my FR735XT. I contacted Garmin support and they initiated a repair/replacement procedure. I suggest you do the same.
  • Ah yes, it was the 735 forum!
  • My FR35 has darker edges too. They aren't so dark like yours, they are yellow/brown. I contacted Garmin support, but they told me that I can send it to them if the function is affected. So I have to wait until I can't read it anymore or until it stops working because of other things.

    Exactly like mine.

Not very nice. I think that if the display doesn't hold it's quality, then even if it's still usable it should be replaced if your watch is still under warranty.
