Can Wrist Band be changed

Hello,

I would like to offer a forerunner 35 to my wife for her birthday. But I do not want to repeat my bad experience with Forerunner 210 which works perfectly but the wrist band has broken less than 2 years after buying and cannot be changed.
So do you know if it is possible to change the wristband of Forerunner 35 ? We can see screws on the back but I did not found on internet any compatible wristband by Garmin or by third parties.

VTTseb, I don't know about you but this forum is starting to seem useless to me. Nobody seems to want to give you any anwsers

It's a user to user forum primarily and not a lot of folks have a ForeRunner35 yet so the people who can answer questions are limited. You can try and find answers elsewhere - perhaps phoning Garmin support might yield a better answer.

Seb, it seems as though the wrist bands are possibly interchangeable, but as the product is still very new, Garmin does not offer them, nor has the product been out enough yet for 3rd party sellers to begin offering them. Perhaps the lack of info is why no one has responded until now. I will certainly be on the lookout for them.

yes and no

I was told at the Expo (Chicago Marathon) in October that the bands can be replaced, but are not necessarily interchangeable like an Apple Watch. I was hoping to get a few colors to change out, but I think its just a "repair" item.

Hello,

My girlfriend asked to Garmin support in France : it is not foreseen to sell the strap separately for Garmin, but it is covered during the warranty period of 2 years in case it is broken.
