Forerunner 230 can't charge, how to do?

My forerunner 230 doesn't charge when connected; I tried with USB and power adapter, with new cable, with reset; no help at all. Bluetooth is working, but no charging.

Has anyone a solution??

Mein Forerunner 230 lädt nicht mehr.

Was habe ich bisher zur Problemlösung versucht?

Reinigen Kabel und Kontakte, neues Kabel, Anschlß über USB oder über Ladeadapter, Aus- Einschalten, Werks-Reset: alles keine Verbesserung;

ÜberBluetooth funktioniert alles, ich habe Daten herunter geladen, neue Software aufgespielt, aber die Ladeanzeige (und Funktion) geht nicht mehr.

Der Akku ist bisher ohne Probleme gelaufen, hat mehrere Wochen die Uhr geladen gehalten, ohne neu aufgeladen werden zu müssen, keine sichtbaren Akkuverschleiß Anzeichen;

Was kann ich sonst noch tun?

I just read another post, about a 235, that was not charging. The solution? The poster bought a replacement battery off the internet (Amazon I think). Here is that post: https://forums.garmin.com/sports…

Some suggested in older threads (Dead out of the box, and doesn't appear to charge...):
- cleaning the connector,
- holding for 10 sec the light button while it's connected by USB.

I have had the above mentioned problem with my forerunner 230. It didn't charge when connected; I tried with USB and power adapter, with new cable, with reset; no help at all. Bluetooth has been working, but no charging.

Solution: I opened the 230 according to this video and found the pins inside were not giving contact, where the cable is connected. I contacted them. My FR 230 is running and charging again. Please keep in mind, if Bluetooth isn’t working (mobile phone with Garmin Connect App) after some resets, delete your FR watch from the App and reconnect it again from App (not from iPhone menu !).
