Watch shows wrong date and time and won’t change

My watch is connected to the garmin connect app but won’t change time or date

Make sure the date and time is set correctly on the phone first.

Go Outside and get a good GPS Fix.

If a watch cannot inform the time consistently indoor, then it’s not a watch. Dozens of answers like this in the last 5 years and no fix for such annoying bug.

The fact, the option to set time manually doesn’t work anymore as date will be wrong as a result.

I can go outside and get a good gps fix until the same happens again.

It still doesn't fix the date. It's a Forerunner 35. How do we get the correct date? Been outside with an activity, still not fixed

Turn off and on, then press the Run button and wait for full bars of GPS. Actually you can do it at home too, just press the button and leave a watch for some time.
