How do I sync my Garmin forerunner 235 with Strava?

It says that I've got my Strava and Garmin Connect apps connected (via bluetooth) but nothing is coming up on my Strava. I read that I would need to do a short activity to start the sync and I have yet nothing is syncing onto my Strava.

I assume you created a Strava account ( https://www.strava.com/ ) and then added your Garmin to the Strava account. Your Garmin will use BT or USB to sync to Garmin, but then Strava will pull the data from Garmin. So be sure Garmin Connect ( https://connect.garmin.com/ ) "sees" the activity, then be sure you have authorized Strava to pull your data from Garmin.

Go to connect.garmin.com
Click on the Profile icon in the top right corner
Click on the option Account Settings
Click on the option for Account Information
