Forerunner 225 GPS not working.

My forerunner 225 has stopped finding satalites. On the watches about information the GPS software/hardware version reads 0.00.

When connected to PC there is no software to be installed.

Is there a fix for this problem? Or is it hardware fault that means replacement watch?

No. I trolled through all relevant posts in forum and one stated this was a hardware fault on the watch. It was not worth returning for repair.

I purchased a polar vantage M multisport watch (£189 from fitnessdigital. £185 wiggle but oos). Happy with new watch would recommend. Basic garmin was £140 and extra functionality is worth £50.
