Hi,

Anyone have received a notification that a new version of the firmware is available?

Garmin have not post any info about this.

Installed 8.20 on my 235, battery life is suddenly terrible. Charged last night, started this morning a activity, after 20 minutes already warning battery empty. Will try a cold boot or a factory reset…

I can...It is not longer, my app is no longer syncing with my app. App does see the watch is there, but the watch is not showing tthe bluetooth connection.

My garmin stucks on the installation. the activity button is not working anymore. after Hard reset activity button restores functionalities, but again the activity button stopped working as soon as I was trying to update to the new firmware.

I had a couple weird days where my 235 seemed to drain quite quickly, when not in use. However, it seems to be better lately.

Question: Can you see SW version via the device (235), or does one need to connect with Express? Thanks

Same here. Often no Bluetooth icon on my 630. Often no sync. And terrible battery life (5 days in stead of 10)

I update to 8.20 on 8/5/2020 and would like to see release notes. Oh well.

As an FYI, a few days ago, my FR235 stopped syncing via Bluetooth. Restarting the FR didn't help. Not until I removed the FR235 from the Garmin Connect app (Android), and added it back, did it start syncing via Bluetooth again.

PS. still looking for 8.20 release notes!
