HR flats out at 101

I've got a garmin 235 and my HR monitor doesn´t go above 101. I´ve tried to reset and it still doesn´t work properly.

The software version is 7.9

Can anyone help me out.

Hi. Today it had happened to my 235 software 7.9. I was doing a c25k and the first walk of 5 min constant at 101 and when the c25k finished the activity again flat 101 for the last 10 min that I kept walking. Do you have the c25k application by any chance?

No. Now it happens fewer times. And it might stop at 115, 140 ... But most of the times it started to work correctly. The onluy thing i did was reseting it again.

I have a Forerunner 35 and for my last two runs (one treadmill, one outside) the heart rate maxed out at 101 for the whole 10 miles. When walking before and after the run it seemed accurate, but once above 100 bpm it pegged at 101 for the entire data set. I have tried a soft reset, but this is pretty disappointing considering I thought I upgraded from a TomTom device to a Garmin.
