How can I activate and log gym and fitness activity directly on my watch? I do got running indoor and out, and cycling indoor and out side. I just want to chose gym and fitness activity directly from my watch.

Yes, for example the 935/945 or the Fenix 5/6 series have some gym activity types, like for example:

Strength training

Elliptical

Indoor rowing

and perhaps several others.

The FR235 doesn't have that option. The best you can do is select "Other" or "Cardio", and then change the activity type in Garmin Connect. Alternatively, you can search the IQ app store for an appropriate app.

You can try something like "Any Activity" app from Connect IQ Store. I think it could be exactly what are you looking for.

You need the app for the phone only, the watch has its own settings.

I think that there is no good printer for unfriquent use. I had 3 or for and none of them worked well after 2-3 months.
